Supporting independence and peace—one room at a time.

A Little About Me….

Hello, my name is Emily, and my passion is children! As a parent of two Montessori children, I’ve seen how these principles extend far beyond the classroom, shaping every part of a child’s world.

I hold an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology and Applied Developmental Science from the University of Virginia (2016) and earned my Primary Montessori Certification through Center for Guided Montessori Studies in 2019.

For the past eight years, I’ve had the joy of guiding children in my 3-6 yr community and witnessing firsthand how Montessori principles nurture each child’s natural development, independence, and self-esteem—both in the classroom and at home.

I’m passionate about helping families bring Montessori into their daily lives, creating spaces and routines that truly support their children’s growth and joy.

Bright and spacious indoor playroom with large windows, wooden flooring, and colorful children's toys, blankets, and cushions.

My family-oriented Montessori consultation service provides personalized guidance to help you create a nurturing, organized environment at home that supports your child’s independence and natural development. I work closely with your family to design practical routines and thoughtfully arranged spaces, tailored to your unique needs and values. With expert advice grounded in Montessori principles, you’ll foster a calm and prepared home that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and confidence in your child.
